The
military understands the importance of proper protective packaging.
Whether it's insects, moisture, static, UV rays or grease, a
myriad of elements can contribute to a product's deterioration.
"Desiccants" such as MIL-D 3464 crushed clay are an
effective way to reduce moisture in an enclosed space. Coupled
with other MIL-SPEC packaging materials such as a waterproof
or moisture barrier bag, can ensure that humidity--and hence
the possibility of corrosion--is entirely eliminated. We even
offer MIL-SPEC humidity indicator cards that can be placed within
the packaging material to monitor any fluctuations in moisture
levels.
